Privacy Policy

If you request an invite, we collect your name, email address, and the answers you provide about your manuscript: whether a draft exists, roughly how much of it exists, what you are writing, what becomes hard to keep track of, what you need to recover after time away, and whether you would be willing to import the work.

If you email us, we receive whatever you include in that message.

If you create an account and use Loreloom, we also store the information needed to run the writing room: your account email, authentication details, project metadata, and the manuscript and story-memory material you choose to bring in or create.

Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of a visit. This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts.

We use this information to:

• review invite requests and manage the alpha
• send occasional email about access, product updates, or replies to you
• operate, secure, and improve Loreloom
• provide the writing-room features you use, including saving and exporting your work

We do not sell your personal information.

The invite form does not collect the manuscript itself. If you later import or write in Loreloom, that material is stored so the product can work: keep the draft, surface possible characters and story memory for you to review, and help you return to the work.

Your manuscript is not used to train models. You can export your work and take it with you.

The marketing site and invite list are hosted on Vercel, with invite requests stored in Neon. The writing room uses additional hosting, authentication, and database services to keep accounts and projects. Loreloom does not send manuscript text to AI providers.

These service providers process data only to operate Loreloom. Loreloom does not use your writing to train models.

Invite requests are kept while the alpha is running and for a reasonable period afterward so we can manage access and follow up. Account and manuscript data are kept while your account is active. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to respond.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact hello@catalistclub.com to make a request.

Loreloom is intended for adult writers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page will change when we do.
